Dunno if she's pretty or not, but this was skin painting practice and I rather say I like the result (1.5 hours). Anatomically speaking, I don't think the neck can rotate that much or the ear is correct....you could say artistic liberty for a study.
And as you say, if the ear bugs you... it can be moved closer to the face, or stay right there (how cool is that that digital allows so much freedom.) But at the end of the day, you can put the ear anywhere you want to, or no ear at all, or ten ears even... you're the artist... and you call the shots. Like a boss.
Keep it up... and thanks for inspiring me to get better at getting better. (So easy to be a lazy artist, and just do the same thing over and over again.)
I always loved her hair this is epic love your shadings as always...I try a lot to make good shadows but my result is shit uh I'M only good in traditional
The thing with shadows is that you have to understand not only where the light comes from but also the shape of things. Like the head, it's not completely round, it's also flat-ish on the front and has lots of angles (like cheekbones, cheeks, brow etc).
I'm currently doing study paintings of photos to learn how the light falls on different surfaces
Congrats.
